• No pre-operative diet
• The day before surgery, we advise you to limit yourself to a light meal at dinner.

Stop eating and drinking

• Small quantities, several small meals if necessary.
• Sufficient hydration, 2l water or fruit juices (not acidic) carrot juice, blueberries….
• Avoid alcohol
• Avoid high-fat foods; cold cuts, whole milk
• Prefer fish and chicken.
• Prefer grilled red meat.
• Avoid dishes with sauce (Flemish carbonade, Indian curry…)
• Avoid pastries, cakes, pastries
• Avoid overly spicy dishes
• Avoid deep-fried food

• No post-operative diet
• For the first few meals and the first days after surgery, we recommend following a light and moderate diet.
