Care of wounds

There are no dressings or external wounds.

During the day / night:

• We recommend applying an absorbent pad in the underwear to absorb the wound fluid from the anal canal during the first few hours after the procedure.

Absorbent compresses /pads

Available in dressing shops, pharmacies, available without prescription (Zetuvit®, Hekasorb®,…).

When showering – bathing:

• You can take a bath or shower without protection.

If a stay in a rehabilitation centre is planned, contact our social worker before admission.
