L’excision de l’hémorroïde externe consiste à enlever l’hémorroide externe au complet, la veine thrombosée ainsi que le tissu et la peau qui la couvre.
L’évacuation du caillot consiste à simplement inciser la tuméfaction et évacuer le caillot.
L’intervention peut s’effectuer sous anesthésie locale ou générale en fonction de la pathologie.
